Anna Przybysz, Polish organist, born in 1992 in Warsaw. She studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under the tutelage of Prof. Magdalena Czajka, Prof. Jarosław Malanowicz, Prof. Józef Serafin, Dr hab. Bartosz Jakubczak and Dr hab. Jarosław Wróblewski. She completed a master’s degree program at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig in the class of Prof. Martin Schmeding. Currently. In February 2022 she defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of musical arts. The laureate of the 2 nd Marian Sawa National Organ Competition in 2011 (3 rd prize), 5 th Feliks Nowowiejski International Organ Competition in 2015 (3 rd prize) and the semi-finalist of the 5 th Daniel Herz International Organ Competition in Brixen in 2016 and of the 13 th Gottfried Silbermann International Organ Competition in Freiberg in 2017. She completed the Erasmus scholarship program in the class of Prof. Martin Schmeding at Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg (2014-2015) and participated in the student exchange program with Rice University in Houston, USA, in the class of Prof. Ken Cowan (2017). She received twice the scholarship of the Prime Minister (2009-2011) and of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD (2016-2018). She improved her skills by participating in master classes conducted i.a. by Léon Berben, Hans Fagius, Henry Fairs, Julian Gembalski, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Bernhard Haas, Jeremy Joseph, Ludger Lohman, Matthias Maierhofer, Christophe Mantoux, Krzysztof Urbaniak, Martin Schmeding, Wolfgang Seifen, Jaroslav Tůma, Christoph Wolff, Wolfgang Zerer. She performed at international organ festivals in the country: 25 th Jubilee Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Leżajsk, 7 th International Festival of Organ Music in Puławy, 4 th Organ Festival in Pasłęk, 20 th , 22 nd and 23 rd International Youth Organ Festival in Sejny, 27 th International Festival of Organ Music “Organ of the Archcathedral” in Warsaw and abroad (Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Lithuania).
Her debut album ,,Karl Hoyer – Organ Works’’ was published in March, 2021.
